Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner – Primary Care
Holistic | Functional | Neuroimmune-Informed | Infant & Family Wellness
Hi, I’m Chelsea—a board-certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner with a passion for nurturing children and families through a holistic lens. My work blends conventional medicine, functional principles, and deep respect for each child’s unique journey—starting from the earliest days of life.
With a strong foundation in primary care pediatrics, I’ve pursued advanced training in integrative and functional pediatrics, including focused work in eczema, environmental and mold-related illness, and gut-brain health. I’m especially passionate about supporting families during the first 1000 days—from pregnancy through a child’s second year—when early nutrition, attachment, and microbiome development shape a child’s lifelong resilience.
I approach care through the lens of the mother–baby dyad, supporting postpartum mental health, breastfeeding, and newborn transitions alongside infant development. I love walking with families through those early, sacred seasons—and continuing to partner with them through every age and stage.
Before becoming a nurse practitioner, I worked for several years in pediatric neurology and neurosurgery at Dell Children’s Medical Center. That experience gave me a deep respect for the brain-body connection and helps me support children facing sensory, inflammatory, or neuroimmune challenges.
Today, I bring calm, thoughtful presence to every visit—whether supporting a newborn, unraveling a chronic symptom pattern, or guiding a family through postpartum and gut healing. I believe children thrive when their environments, relationships, and biology are in sync—and that healing happens when we listen closely to the whole story.
I earned my Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Austin and am certified through the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board. I’m also a proud member of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners (NAPNAP), and I continually deepen my training in holistic, functional, and trauma-informed care.
When I’m not in the clinic, you’ll likely find me outdoors—running, hiking, or enjoying good food and good company. It’s an honor to walk beside families with curiosity, compassion, and evidence-informed care that honors the whole child. I’m so glad you’re here.
